Job summary

Bohler's Atlanta, GA office seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Land Development) ready to advance in civil engineering. You will partner with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver land development solutions, supporting project delivery and client interactions while mentoring junior staff.

You will oversee scoping, design packages, permitting, contracts, and invoicing, contributing to Bohler's reputation for technical excellence and leadership in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering required or equivalent.
• 6+ years of site design and jurisdictional permitting experience for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Experience working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams; PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project management activities, including project scoping, proposals, schedules, and resource planning.
• Oversee preparation of site plan packages, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control.
• Coordinate permitting and entitlement approval processes with clients, municipalities, and agencies.
• Prepare contracts, change orders, and client invoices while tracking financial performance.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, contractors, and subconsultants to ensure project success.
• Review concept drawings and cost estimates aligned with client objectives.
• Participate in public hearings, community meetings, and professional organizations.
• Mentor junior staff and share technical knowledge to promote team growth.
