Job summary

Leidos is seeking a motivated Junior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support IA initiatives and maintain system security integrity within our Intelligence Sectors, Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will assist with security operations, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to RMF-based compliance for classified information systems.

We value collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to work across engineering teams to embed security best practices early.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Cybersecurity, IA, or related field.
• If no degree, 6+ years direct experience may apply.
• DoD 8140/IAM I–II or IAT III certifications required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily security configurations for classified environments.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and risk assessments.
• Evaluate new security solutions to strengthen architecture.
• Guide RMF ATO lifecycle and author SSPs/RARs.
• Maintain SCTMs and A&A packages.
• Administer strict Configuration Management.
• Audit controls to ensure baseline integrity.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security best practices.
