Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree or trades training in turf management or related field.
• Knowledge of general business administration practices as applied to golf course operations.
• Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent with interviewing, training, scheduling and performance reviews.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of tasks for multiple maintenance positions and roles.
• Operate and maintain maintenance equipment and assist with repairs or modifications as needed.
• Assist with staff training on equipment operation and safe procedures.
• Help ensure safety practices and compliance with regulations within the department.
• Support daily task completion and communicate improvements to supervisors.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the golf course, equipment and facilities.
