TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, invites you to join the team as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-In-Training (AIT). This entry-level role is designed to provide hands-on experience and training aimed at promotion to an Assistant Superintendent position within the TPC Network.

The AIT will assist the Director of Golf Course Maintenance and Supervisors with interviewing, training, scheduling and performance reviews, learn proper equipment operation, maintenance and safety

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor degree in turf management or related field or trades training.
• Knowledge of general business administration practices as applied to golf course operations.
• Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director Golf Course Maintenance Operations and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent I & II with interviewing, training, scheduling and review of performance for the Golf Course Maintenance staff members.
• Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of all tasks relevant to the various foreman and technician positions.
• Maintain and operate maintenance equipment per established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with training staff on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Support safety program compliance and internal procedures.
