Job summary

GMEA Services in Goodyear, AZ is seeking an motivated Apprentice Electrician to grow hands‑on electrical skills alongside seasoned electricians on industrial and commercial projects.

You will assist with installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, support conveyor installations, pull wire, install conduit, and follow all safety procedures; a valid US work authorization is required, plus enrollment in an approved apprenticeship program or willingness to enroll.

Qualifications

• Conveyor system installation, maintenance or troubleshooting experience highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics is a plus.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders and work in industrial environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Support conveyor system installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
• Pull wire, install conduit, mount electrical components, and perform general electrical labor.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Work closely with journeyman electricians and project supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
