Job summary

Calyx Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Administrator in Training to join our growing team. You will be mentored to become the Executive Director for future Calyx communities, gaining hands-on experience in operations, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.

Over 6 to 18 months, you will lead a community as second in command, build relationships with residents and families, and develop the leadership skills needed to manage staffing, occupancy, and quality care in a contemporary, holistic

Qualifications

• Meets NC Administrator in Training requirements within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
• Experience directing a team including hiring and coaching.
• Passion for working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Pursue the training curriculum and licensing requirements to become a licensed Executive Director in an assisted living community.
• Develop skills to manage day-to-day operations including service delivery, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, staffing and sales.
• Maintain resident satisfaction while keeping full occupancy and provide leadership to ensure quality care and a happy community.
• Build relationships with residents' families and the community as well as employees you lead.
• Ensure community operations comply with Calyx policies and governmental regulations.
• Support HR functions including hiring, retention, staffing and leadership of department heads.
• Ensure the community is aware of Calyx's services.
