Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license for Michigan.
• 3+ years of experience in healthcare; skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; public health or business administration preferred but not required.
• Minimal gaps in work history with progressive responsibility.
• Strong work ethic, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent people skills with guests, families, employees and leadership.
• Ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and perform financial analysis; handle conflicts and emergencies.
• Flexibility to work on-call as facility needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and administration of assigned tasks to sustain quality care and financial profitability.
• Train and learn daily operation, policy, procedure, regulatory compliance and facility maintenance.
• Lead special improvement projects to enhance operational and financial practices while ensuring outstanding guest experience.
• Upon program completion, oversee overall management of a facility and programs and services.
