Amentum is seeking a Jr. Cyber Defense Analyst to join the Missile Defense Division.

Based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs or Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, the role supports the Missile Defense Agency, performs DCO/CSSP duties, and helps improve security posture across customer networks. The position requires 1+ years of general experience, 6+ months in information security, DoD Secret clearance (and ability to obtain Top Secret), rotating shifts, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general full-time work experience.
• 6+ months of directly related information security experience.
• Ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance within 6 months (and Top Secret clearance in the future).

Responsibilities

• Perform DCO/CSSP duties and participate in incident response.
• Investigate and document cybersecurity incidents per CJCSM 6510.01B.
• Analyze data to improve enterprise security posture and recommend improvements.
• Support development and updating of DCO procedures and manuals.
