Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration seeks a Cyber Incident Analyst Responder – Regional CNDA to join the team at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role supports national security missions by monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats across the BMD network, with on-site duties and a 24x7 schedule.

Qualified candidates hold an active Secret clearance, IAT II+ certification, and relevant DoD cyber experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree, or 9+ years of related work experience.
• Active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II+ at start.
• Current in-scope Government-issued Secret clearance required to start.
• Experience identifying worms/viruses using signatures and behavioral indicators.
• Knowledge of IDS, firewalls, log aggregation, and correlation tools.
• Understanding of network concepts, hardware configuration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network security 24x7 and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain a network defense visibility display.
• Collect, store, correlate, and present security data to leadership.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and systems teams to implement defenses.
• Document security events and lessons learned for process improvement.
• Operate CND tools to protect BMD COMNET and mission systems.
• Assist ORM decisions regarding network security posture.
• Support 24x7 C2BMC operations as required.
