Job summary

Hoar Construction in Savannah, GA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project teams with documentation, coordination, and day-to-day administration. You will help manage RFI logs, submittals, drawings, and close-out documentation while keeping project records up to date.

This role requires a bachelor's degree in Building Science or related field, 1–3 years of experience, and proficiency with Viewpoint/VICO/BIM, MS Word, and a valid driver’s license. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of industry experience; Owner's rep / Program Mgmt experience preferred.
• Experience with Viewpoint, VICO and BIM.
• Proficient in MS Word.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• LEED AP and/or CCM certifications helpful.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the setup and maintenance of construction project management including planning, scheduling, budgeting prior to the start of the project.
• Assist in coordination and expediting to ensure timely delivery of shop drawings and submittals, materials, change orders, pricing and approvals.
• Create, update, and refer to RFI logs, submittal logs, bulletin schedules and startup document checklists.
• Coordinate, obtain, and communicate information for construction and installation of owner furnished equipment.
• Update and maintain contract drawings with new information as bulletins, RFIs, ASIs, and proposals.
• Review contractor and material supplier invoices, change order pricing, drawings and submittals.
