Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Director to help lead a center where children thrive, families feel at home, and educators can do their best work. You will partner with the Center Director to manage daily operations, support the teaching team, ensure safety and compliance, and open or close the center as assigned.

This role is ideal for someone organized, people-focused, and eager to grow toward running a center of their own through CDS's ASPIRE program.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage daily operations and staff scheduling.
• Monitor classrooms, coach staff, and maintain program quality.
• Maintain accurate child and staff records; complete required reporting.
• Open or close the center as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and staffing to ensure smooth center running.
• Coach staff via regular classroom walkthroughs and corrections.
• Prepare and submit compliance and reporting documents.
• Communicate with parents and conduct tours; escalate complex concerns.
• Handle opening/closing duties.
