Job summary

Child Development Schools seeks an Assistant Director to help run a thriving center with a focus on safety, compliance, and quality. You will partner with the Center Director to manage daily operations, support teaching staff, and ensure a welcoming, high-quality experience for children and families.

You will lead staff scheduling, coaching, and onboarding, while handling routine parent communication and tours, with opportunities for growth through CDS Aspire leadership training.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating staff schedules and classroom coverage.
• Ability to coach staff and ensure program quality.
• Familiarity with compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience communicating with parents and tours.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and center operations daily.
• Monitor classrooms, coach staff, and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain accurate child and staff files; complete reports.
• Handle routine parent communication and school tours.
• Support onboarding and coaching; provide coverage in the Director's absence.
• Open or close the center as assigned.
