Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service invites applicants for the Junior Automotive Technician position in Lakeway, TX. You will perform basic mechanical repairs, oil changes, tire services, and light vehicle maintenance, using our diagnostic tools while following safety procedures.

We offer Sundays off, competitive pay starting at $15 per hour up to $28 per hour with production bonuses, plus tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, holidays, health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive technician experience.
• Current, valid Driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to obtain a State Inspector License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic mechanical repairs based on level of experience.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using inspection/RO.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor.
• Adheres to company policies and contributes to a safe work environment.
