Job summary

Cherry Bekaert invites motivated students to join as an Audit Intern in the United States. You will work with multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements, applying accounting knowledge through our Firm technology and shadowing audit professionals at all levels.

You will participate in team building, training initiatives, and even present on a marketing or research project, while enjoying social functions and networking opportunities within a supportive firm culture.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
