Reeves Construction Company in Brunswick, GA is seeking an Asphalt Distributor / Tack Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will operate the tack truck, assist the crew with tasks, and maintain the vehicle to ensure safety and efficiency on highway and site projects.

Candidates should have a valid CDL with tanker endorsement, a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years old. The role requires adherence to DOT safety rules and prior construction equipment exposure.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL (Tanker Endorsement) and a clean driving record.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Must adhere to all DOT and Reeves safety regulations.
• High school education, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with construction equipment.
• One or more years in a similar field.
• Must lift up to 45 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate the tack truck and support crew as needed.
• Assist with shoveling and other tasks when the tack truck is not in use.
• Keep truck clean and well maintained.
• Pre-heat heat tank before work begins.
• Shoot tack on road within specifications.
• Set string lines on road edges as required.
• Work nights and weekends when necessary.
• Drive safely and consistently on job sites.
