Job summary

Reeves Construction Company is seeking an Asphalt Distributor/Tack Truck Driver at our Savannah, GA location. The ideal candidate will have a CDL with Tanker Endorsement, a clean driving record, and a strong safety mindset for heavy civil road and site work.

Responsibilities include operating the tack truck, aiding the crew, maintaining equipment, and potentially working nights or weekends. Must be physically capable and able to lift up to 60 pounds, with previous construction equipment exposure

Qualifications

Valid Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must adhere to DOT and Reeves safety regulations.
High school education, GED or equivalent work experience.
Experience working around construction equipment.
One or more years of experience in a similar field.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate the tack truck safely and efficiently.
Assist the crew with shoveling and other tasks when the tack truck is not in use.
Keep the truck maintained and clean at all times.
Heat the tank prior to starting work.
Shoot tack on road within specifications.
Set string line on edges of road when needed.
Be able to work nights and weekends if required.
Drive in a safe and consistent manner.
