Gray- is seeking an experienced Asphalt Screed Operator to join our construction team. The role involves operating a screed to lay asphalt according to project plans and quality standards, under the supervision of the crew superintendent.

Candidates should be able to learn and operate other equipment on the asphalt crew and assist with additional duties as directed by foreman and superintendent. Attention to detail and craftsmanship are essential.

Formación

• Experience operating asphalt screed equipment.
• Ability to follow plan and quality specs.
• Willingness to assist with other crew tasks as needed.

About this position

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Asphalt Screed Operator to join our construction team.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt screed to apply asphalt per plan and quality specifications as instructed by crew superintendent to insure daily schedules/estimates are met. Also must perform additional tasks of other positions as needed and instructed by foreman.
• Ability to operate or initiative to learn to operate other equipment required on an asphalt crew.
• Ability to operate asphalt paver/screed within designated area with attention to detail and emphasis on craftsmanship.
• Manipulates hand or foot levers to control movements of machine spreads and levels asphalt on subgrade of highway and related surfaces such as parking lots, streets, etc.
• Any other duties assigned by your Foreman and Superintendent.
