Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Central Texas is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator to join the asphalt team. You will work with the crew foreman to smooth and level asphalt, ensuring a high-quality finished surface and adherence to safety standards.

The role is full-time, outdoor, and requires available overtime and potential travel across Texas. Prior small power tool use and basic equipment checks are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 1 year (or under) experience in asphalt or related field.
• Organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to work well in teams or one-on-one settings.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate the asphalt roller machine with the crew foreman.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform pre/post shift checks.
• Maintain safety practices and watch for others around the machine.
• Shovel, rake and assist with prep and patching as needed.
• Assist with traffic control devices and site setup.
