Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator in Houston to support paving and construction projects. The role involves operating asphalt paving equipment, maintaining material flow, setting up forms for curbs, and coordinating with the crew to ensure efficient site operations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience, with 3 years in road construction preferred. CDL may be required; travel and varying shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience and/or training in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of road construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive machines onto truck trailers and transport to and from job sites.
• Observe distribution of paving material and adjust machine settings or material flow.
• Control paving machines to maintain a constant flow of asphalt or other material into hoppers or screeds.
• Set up forms and lay out guidelines for curbs according to specifications.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment or report malfunctions to supervisors.
