Job summary

Central Specialties, Inc. is seeking a Bituminous Roller Operator to help produce dense pavement and smooth, long-lasting roads across Minnesota and the Dakotas.

This on-site role requires travel throughout MN, ND, SD, MT and IA, physical stamina, reliable attendance, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality. The job involves outdoor work, possible overtime, and opportunities for training and advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Iowa.
• Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites.
• Valid Driver’s License, preferably Class A.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Determines speed and direction of machine and compressibility of materials under changing temperatures to eliminate ridges.
• While operating equipment, maintain clear and effective communication with people and equipment around you.
• Performs maintenance and light repairs to roller.
• Performs other tasks as needed.
• Complies with Company Safety Program.

As a Bituminous Roller Operator, you will be in charge of rolling patterns to help to get the best density to make the best roads from start to finish.
