Job summary

APAC-Atlantic, a CRH Company, seeks an Asphalt Plant Operator for GA/SC to manage plant controls, weigh aggregates and asphalt cement, and deliver material to the dryer and mixer for production hours. You will work with the plant crew to keep output efficient and on target.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work nights and weekends. You must follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred but not required.
• Related experience and/or training preferred.
• Driver's License Required

Responsibilities

• Operate plant controls to weigh and deliver aggregates and asphalt cement to dryer and mixer.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
• Input orders via telephone, radio and system.
• Maintain heat and material flow, monitor gauges and equipment.
• Assist in maintenance and end-of-shift cleanup.
