Radise International LLC is seeking an Asphalt Plant Inspector to oversee on-site asphalt production in West Palm Beach, FL, ensuring compliance with FDOT standards and project specs. The role involves QC/QA testing, mix design verification, and coordination with plant operators and engineers.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, 3 years in asphalt inspection or related materials testing, and familiarity with FDOT testing protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate/technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in asphalt inspection or related materials testing.
• Familiarity with FDOT testing protocols and mix designs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor asphalt plant operations for FDOT compliance.
• Perform QC/QA tests and verify mix designs and materials.
• Collect and test asphalt materials using standard procedures (AASHTO/ASTM).
• Verify calibration of plant equipment and use of approved materials.
• Ensure FDOT sampling, testing, and reporting requirements are met.
• Document inspection results and FDOT records accurately.
• Coordinate with FDOT personnel, contractors, and engineers on issues.
• Conduct random sampling and field testing per FDOT processes.
• Monitor environmental and safety compliance at sites.
• Maintain familiarity with current FDOT standards.
