RADISEInternational, LC is seeking an Asphalt Plant Inspector in Fort Lauderdale to oversee asphalt production, perform QC/QA tests, and ensure compliance with FDOT specifications. The role involves on-site inspections, collaboration with plant operators and project staff, and documenting results.

The position requires CTQP Asphalt Plant Level II or the ability to obtain certification, with flexibility for non-typical hours including nights and weekends.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; associated or technical degree in civil engineering technology preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of asphalt inspection or materials testing experience; 2–3 years on FDOT roadway or plant projects preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and monitor asphalt plant operations to FDOT standards and specs.
• Perform QC/QA tests as required under FDOT guidelines, including mix design verification.
• Collect and test asphalt materials using standardized procedures (AASHTO, ASTM).
• Coordinate with FDOT personnel, contractors, and engineers to resolve mix quality issues.
• Document inspection results, test data, and deviations; maintain FDOT records.
