Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking an Asphalt Plant Helper/Operator to work in their manufacturing plants across Southern Wisconsin. You will be involved in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment used to produce asphalt mix while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver's license, have a strong work ethic, and be ready to work in varied weather conditions. Training and support, alongside a family-focused work culture await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Ability to work in varied weather conditions.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Mechanical or repair experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help operate and maintain the asphalt manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
• Load out trucks for material distribution.
• Feed aggregate materials into the asphalt plant.
• Monitor hot mix asphalt test results.
