Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical skills and basic knowledge of computers.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction is beneficial.
• Physically capable of labor and working in industrial environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant, including drum and batch systems controlled via automation.
• Coordinate with quality control to meet specifications and adjust mix formulas.
• Monitor plant status, load out material, and dispatch trucks.
• Communicate with paving crews, project teams, and customers to optimize production and profits.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through quality and service.
• Maintain safe working environment and participate in safety discussions.
• Plan production for the next day and adjust as needed.
• Document daily/weekly/monthly reports and plan raw material orders.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and winter readiness; perform equipment pre-shift inspections.
