Job summary

Branscome in Hampton, VA is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to batch, heat and mix materials for asphalt paving projects. You will monitor plant equipment, adjust controls and ensure compliance with specifications.

You may assist with maintenance, travel between Branscome plants, and uphold safety policies. A High School Diploma or GED and prior plant or construction experience are preferred.

This role requires physical stamina and willingness to work overtime, with valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Previous Construction / Manufacturing / Plant Operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt plant to batch, heat, and mix materials.
• Monitor gauges and control systems to meet specifications.
• Assist with assembling, adjusting, maintaining, and repairing plant equipment.
• Move and manage material handling equipment and tools.
• Travel between Branscome plants as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs.
