Branscome in Virginia is seeking a Backhoe Operator for asphalt milling and paving prep. You will safely operate a backhoe, assist milling crews, and help prepare surfaces for resurfacing projects. The job is at active construction sites across Hampton Roads, with emphasis on quality and safety.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years of backhoe experience. Overtime and variable shifts (day or night) are common in our fast-paced work sites, with strong emphasis on teamwork,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of backhoe operating experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; safety-focused.

Responsabilités

• Operate a backhoe to dig, lift and move materials for asphalt milling and paving prep.
• Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with safety policies.
• Assist milling crews by preparing surfaces and removing debris.
• Operate other heavy equipment (skid steers, brooms) as needed.
• Overtime, day or night shifts as required by operations.
