C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of the asphalt plant in Pensacola, FL. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, quality control, and collaboration with production teams and customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in asphalt production and plant management, plus strong leadership and project management skills. A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in asphalt production and plant management.
• Knowledge of asphalt plant operation, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience in project management, scheduling and monitoring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
• Must meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check.

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Plant Manager for our local operations. The Asphalt Plant Manager will manage the day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of the asphalt plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the overall operations of the asphalt production plant, including production, scheduling, and maintenance
• Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, safety, and performance
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies, and develop safety training programs for all employees
• Ensure the quality of the asphalt produced and communicate with customers to meet their expectations
• Developing and managing project schedules with contractors
