Job summary

CWR Contracting, Inc. seeks an experienced Regional Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee plant operations across the Florida Panhandle, from Pensacola to Tallahassee. You will lead production, scheduling, maintenance, and safety programs while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost control.

You will manage multiple plants, develop budgets, and work with QC and field staff to meet customer quality expectations. Strong leadership and project management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of asphalt production and plant management experience with drum mix plants.
• Knowledge of asphalt plant operations, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Intimate knowledge of asphalt mix designs.
• Experience in project management, scheduling and monitoring.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
• Must meet MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee overall operations of the asphalt production plant, including production, scheduling of materials, and maintenance.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve plant efficiency, safety, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies; develop safety training programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance; maintain permits and renew as needed.
• Coordinate with QC and field staff to meet customer quality expectations.
• Develop budgets for Capital Improvement projects and manage their completion at each plant.
• Develop and manage each plant's budget, including operating and maintenance cost.
• Track and monitor inventories at each plant.
• Develop new ideas as technology and equipment evolve; promote sustainability.
• Other duties as assigned.
