Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil/Mechanical/Mining Engineering or related fields and are willing to travel regionally; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be safety oriented and able to follow procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend plant safety meetings and observe safety procedures on job sites.
• Assist in site safety audits.
• Support daily asphalt plant operations and material handling.
• Observe production processes, stockpiling, and loading of materials.
• Help track production information, materials, and inventory.
• Assist with collecting material samples and quality control checks.
• Support equipment tracking, site documentation and inventory organization.
• Shadow plant operators and foremen to gain hands-on exposure.
