Madrid CFTL, a civil engineering firm focusing on geotechnical work and construction materials testing, seeks an Asphalt Plant Inspector to support QA and verification testing at asphalt production facilities across West-Central Florida. Training and CTQP certification support will be provided; prior asphalt or inspection experience is helpful but not required.

You will observe plant operations, collect samples, monitor production and handling, verify temperatures and documentation, and report

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years experience in earthwork construction preferred.
• Basic understanding of asphalt production or roadway construction.
• CTQP Asphalt Plant Level I and/or II certifications preferred (not required at hire).
• Willingness to obtain CTQP certifications through company training.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license; travel to various sites.

About the Role

We are seeking an Asphalt Plant Inspector to support quality assurance and verification testing activities at asphalt production facilities, primarily throughout West-Central Florida. This role is ideal for individuals interested in developing a career in the construction materials testing industry. Previous asphalt and/or inspection experience is very helpful but not strictly required for this position; training and certification support will be provided for motivated candidates.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn / obtain CTQP certifications through company-supported training.
• Ability to work early hours, nights, or weekends as required by plant operations.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license as it is required to fulfill essential job duties, such as traveling to various assignment sites.
