Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking an experienced Plant Groundsman to join our North Shore Asphalt team in Franklinton, LA. You will perform maintenance, operate basic equipment, and support asphalt operations in outdoor conditions.

We value safety, reliability, and a team-first attitude; applicants should have at least 1 year in road or construction work and be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks in various weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of road or construction experience.
• Ability to read simple directions and perform basic math.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push/pull 70 lbs.
• Work outdoors in heat, cold and humidity.
• Observe all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment.
• Grease and service equipment.
• Assist asphalt crew with shoveling, sweeping, and raking.
