Job summary

Solterra Materials is seeking a Groundman to support asphalt production on our construction sites in Coolidge, AZ. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and operating heavy equipment under the direction of Foreman or Superintendent.

You will handle basic tools, assist with site setup, and maintain equipment while following company policies and safety guidelines. A valid driver's license and fluency in English are preferred. Occasional travel with advance notice may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English (speak, read and write).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6–12 months related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and machinery per job specifications.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent directions on daily production schedule.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized job site.
• Report problems or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
