Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road in Texas is seeking a Plant Groundman for Sanger, TX, at our asphalt plants. You will support the project and crew with various tasks at the HMAC facility, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, a strong commitment to jobsite safety, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and at multiple locations. We offer comprehensive benefits and an ESOP structure.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience.
• Must have a strong commitment to jobsite safety.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on Plant equipment.
• Operate equipment such as skid steers, man lifts and water trucks.
• Unload oil trucks.
• Assist Foreman.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Be able to climb ladders and stairs.
• Communicate effectively with fellow workers.
• Work days or nights and weekends as required.
• Be able to work at multiple locations.
• Follow all procedures and safety requirements of the company.
• Be able to work in hot and cold weather.
• Work at heights up to 70’.
• Use various hand tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
