Job summary

Solterra Materials LLC is hiring a Groundman in Arizona to perform a variety of physical tasks, operate heavy equipment, and assist with asphalt projects. You will follow safety policies, communicate with the crew, and help ensure production goals are met on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), 6 months to 1 year related experience, fluency in English, and a valid driver's license with a clean MVR. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of related experience preferred.
• Must be fluent in English (read, write and speak).
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean motor-vehicle record.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and machinery following job specifications.
• Work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent daily production schedule and directions.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site and report problems promptly.
• Coordinate with crew, foreman and contractors to complete tasks.
