The Middlesex Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator in Orlando, Florida. The role focuses on safe, technically proficient operation of assigned heavy equipment within a major civil construction environment.

You will perform daily equipment checks, maintain cleanliness, and follow all safety policies while coordinating with the Project Superintendent. Asphalt plant experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth in a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of heavy civil equipment operator experience.
• Experience with Loader, Excavator, Skid Steer and Dozers.
• Asphalt plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and proficiently per policy.
• Complete equipment condition reports and daily checklists.
• Clean machines; maintain interior cleanliness and lubrication.
• Follow safety policies and be aware of utilities in the work zone.
• Report fuel status to Superintendent daily.
• Notify Superintendent of supplies or maintenance needs.
