Ondrick Materials & Recycling, LLC in Chicopee, MA is seeking an Asphalt Worker to perform physical labor on parking lots and roadways, using maintenance equipment. You will assist paving crews with raking, shoveling and other small tools, following foreman directions and maintaining safety on site.

This role requires endurance, the ability to read basic measurements, and reliable attendance; overtime and weekend work may be required. A pre-employment drug screen is required to join the team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years Asphalt Raker experience required
• Ability to read & write in English; High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years in age or older
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
• Willingness to work overtime, nights and weekends as needed

Responsabilités

• Assist paving crew with duties including raking, shoveling, wheelbarrow work and small tools
• Assist job layout with stakes, strings, paint and chalk to mark the project perimeter
• Signal equipment operators to align, move materials and position with a shovel
• Assist in placement, movement and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and traffic devices
• Follow foreman directions for daily tasks and project expectations
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; work as part of a safety-focused team
