Schlouch Incorporated in Eastern PA is seeking an Asphalt Paving Roller Operator to join our site/civil crew. You will operate a paving roller to compact asphalt and deliver smooth surfaces on residential, commercial, public and private job sites within a 75 mile radius of Reading, PA.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the paving crew, equipment inspection and maintenance, and strict adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be able to pass a criminal background check, physical and drug screen.

We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable person to join our team as an Asphalt Paving Roller Operator. Paving Roller Operators are be expected to successfully meet quality compaction standards on residential, commercial, public, and private job sites in a 75 mile radius of Reading, PA. The Paving Roller Operator position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited to the individual looking to grow their career in the trade industry.

The ideal Asphalt Paving Roller Operator candidate is expected to do or learn the following:

• Operate a paving roller to compact asphalt and achieve smooth surfaces
• Work closely with the paving crew to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect and maintain equipment for safe and optimal operation
• Help the crew perform paving related tasks such as raking, shoveling, and luting
• Follow safety regulations and job site protocols

Salary / Hourly Wage: starting at $27.00 / hr based on experience.
