Martin Marietta seeks a Management Associate for an 18–24 month development program in the Asphalt and Paving division in Colorado. You will gain exposure to asphalt production, project estimation, paving operations, materials management, and financial performance, working with estimating, operations, construction, quality control and sales teams.

The role emphasizes developing technical, financial and leadership skills to manage paving projects and production operations, with contributions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 6 months–1 year of industry internships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed cost estimates for asphalt paving and roadway projects.
• Review plans, bid documents, contracts and drawings for requirements and risks.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for asphalt tonnage and related components.
• Analyze production rates, crew efficiencies and equipment use for cost accuracy.
• Support bid proposals to maintain targeted profit margins.
• Participate in bid reviews and estimate presentations with management.
• Track budgets, labor productivity, equipment costs, and material usage.
• Forecast project revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory standards are followed.
