Job summary

Alabama Grading & Excavation is hiring hardworking and reliable team members for our paving division. We are looking for Laborers and Equipment Operators who can take pride in quality work while performing in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

Experience in paving or heavy civil construction is preferred but not required for laborers. We offer competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and a solid team environment.

• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

• Lute/Rake Hands
• Roller Operators
• Paver Operators
• Skid Steer & Loader Operators
• General Paving Crew Members

What You’ll Do

• Assist with asphalt placement, raking, shoveling, and site cleanup
• Operate paving equipment safely and efficiently (for operator roles)
• Follow directions from the foreman and work as part of a coordinated crew
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
• Perform basic equipment checks and report issues promptly

What We’re Looking For
