Durwood Greene Construction in Texas is hiring a Common Laborer to join our paving crew. You will perform general labor tasks in asphalt paving, patching, and prep work alongside foremen and superintendents to uphold high standards.

• 1 year (or under) experience.
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching or prep crews.
• Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
• Equipment cleanup as needed.
• May be called upon to run small power tools.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
