Job summary

Knife River - MT is looking for a hardworking laborer to support surface paving operations in Montana. You will perform daily equipment inspections, operate a roller for asphalt compaction, and communicate with supervisors and testing technicians to support mat quality.

The role requires flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends, willingness to perform physical labor, and adherence to safety procedures in all weather conditions. Company benefits and opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Safely operate roller in successive overlapping passes over surfaces to be compacted, rolling asphalt to desired compaction and smoothness.

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends.
• Must be willing to do physical labor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
• Valid driver's license but a CDL is preferred
• Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
• Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and raking
