Join Our Team as an Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator at Journey Group

Black-Top Paving, a division of Journey Group with over 110 years of experience in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, is seeking a safety-minded Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator. This role involves operating paver, screed, and other heavy equipment, collaborating with the field foreman and paving team, maintaining production, directing asphalt trucks, and performing ground tasks such as luting and shoveling black top.

We prioritize safety, respect, and integrity in our team environment. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available for new hires starting on or before June 2nd, 2025.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow job instructions.
• Knowledge of safety device locations and usage.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance evidence.
• CDL Class A with air brake endorsements preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and hydrostatics.
