Job summary

CRH APAC Mississippi, Inc. is hiring a construction helper to support paving crews in Mississippi. You will work outdoors, assist with digging, lifting, and material placement, and help set up signs and traffic controls.

The role requires basic education, ability to work nights and weekends, pass drug and background checks, and willingness to travel for project sites. You will operate small tools and wear PPE as required, joining a team that emphasizes safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to provide valid I-9 immigration documentation.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work outdoors in varying temperatures, safely.
• Age 18+ and able to wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with policies.
• Assist paving crew with duties such as shoveling and raking.
• Signal equipment operators to position materials.
• Dig, spread and level construction materials.
• Lift and carry tools and supplies as needed.
• Assist in placing signs, barricades, and traffic controls.
• Follow supervisor directions for daily tasks.
