Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking candidates for paving and construction roles on multiple projects in North America. The team emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations, and reliable performance across varied sites.

Responsibilities include supporting the crew with shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow tasks, material handling, and traffic control while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Pre-employment "Fit for Work" physical.
• Be able to provide valid I-9 documentation.
• Be willing to travel and work nights and weekends when required.
• Be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Follow OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
• Assist construction / paving crew with duties such as shoveling, raking, and running a wheelbarrow.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Dig, spread and level construction materials.
• Lift, carry and hold materials, tools and supplies.
• Assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Valid DL preferred
