Job summary

Harrison Construction Company, a CRH company, is seeking a crew member to support paving and highway construction across Eastern Tennessee and Western North Carolina. The role involves teamwork with other crew members to meet plans, using hand tools and power tools, and maintaining safety and PPE protocols throughout long shifts.

Qualifications

• Must partner with crewmembers to pave roadways per plan specifications and assist other positions as instructed.
• Assist with shoveling, raking, flagging and running wheelbarrow.
• Dig, spread and level construction materials.
• Lift, carry and hold materials and supplies.
• Must adhere to PPE policy and maintain PPE in working condition.

Responsibilities

• Pave roadways and private driveways, and assist in construction tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to foreman or safety personnel.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.
• Operate hand and power tools within specifications.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling traffic control devices.
