Reeves Construction Company is seeking an Asphalt Paver Screed Operator based in Savannah, GA. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety and be responsible for adjusting the screed height to ensure proper asphalt depth, grade, and finish, as well as maintaining consistency and ride quality of the pavement.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Qualifications: Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months related experience/training, or equivalent.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, manuals, and write routine reports.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and apply instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
Physical Demands: Must be able to climb, sit, withstand vibration/noise, perform manual tasks, and lift up to 60 pounds regularly. Vision and hearing requirements are specified.
Work Environment: Exposure to moving parts, weather, fumes, and loud noise are typical.
