Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Valid Driver's License
• OSHA 10 or Safeland certification preferred but not required
• DOT medical card preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Willingness to learn and master all aspects of the paving and sealing industry.
• Operate asphalt paving equipment such as pavers, screeds, rollers, broom skid steers, road mills, sealer machines, tar machines, Desco 2000’s, and excavators.
• Shovel, lute, and spread asphalt.
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
• Push and pull objects and use hand-operated tools.
• Maintain cleanliness of the job site and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Prioritize safety and maintain a safe work environment, using PPE at all times.
• Work independently and as part of a team, following directions from crew leaders or foremen.
• Embrace challenges and seek growth within the company.
