Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) is seeking an experienced Asphalt Operator to support our construction teams on site. The role focuses on safe operation of heavy equipment and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of heavy equipment experience in construction, the ability to read plans, and strong communication skills to coordinate with crew members and subcontractors. ESS offers a stable on-site work environment and opportunities for growth.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, to move materials, earth, and other heavy objects.
• Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Communicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Operator to work on our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget. As a key member of our team, the Operator I will work closely with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus
