Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking a Laborer to join our asphalt milling and paving crew in Maryland. The role involves heavy physical work, shoveling, raking, jack hammering and assisting with equipment, with opportunities to advance to roles like Screed Person, Lute Person, or QC Tech.

Safety, teamwork and reliability are essential. Overnight stays and night/weekend shifts occur during the milling season; a valid driver's license and MVR are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires heavy physical activity and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Prior experience in paving/ milling is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy physical tasks related to asphalt milling and paving.
• Maintain tools and work areas.
• Ensure safety and effective teamwork on site.
